Aurora by black---butterfly Aurora by black---butterfly
Aurora/Briar Rose from Disney's Sleeping Beauty (14th costume)

Disney movies are so gorgeous! I love them all =D
this dress of aurora is so pretty! I like it much more than the big dress in the end of the movie. and the location where the picture were made was so fantastic. I'm really happy with the result!

This is soooo lovely. :) I'm going to make an Aurora costume, and I'm just wondering how you did the blouse with no buttons on the front? xx

I couldn't agree with you more (on every front). Disney films just that that enchantment happening don't they? And the dress, yes indeed, there is something so nice about this one, perhaps it's because this outfit (or these outfits when we're concerning the girl before she's a princess) just showcases who she is. :)

One of the better Briar Rose costumes I've seen. Well fitted and good color choices :)

Beautiful. Perfect. I like her peasant dress way better than her princess dress. Thanks for doing a cosplay of her peasant dress. ^_^

Could you please pose barefoot, as Briar Rose appears in the scene with the birds and animals?

thank you =)
I used a pattern for a blouse, one for a corsage and one for a skirt. the blouse is a single piece, while I sewed the corsage and the skirt together. It was quite simple to make =)

Did you make the shirt seperate or is it attached to the corset piece? I am trying to figure out how I want to do my own Ive sketched it two different ways...looking to be easier just to put a corset over a peasant top with a collar. Your costume is absolutely stunning though. Its the best version of Briar I have seen yet :) Major Kudos!

thank you for the kind words ^///^

the shirt is seperate and the corset and the skirt are one part, that I can wear over the shirt. I thinks it's easier to sew the costume this way and it was very comfortable to wear.
hope I couls help and thanks again^^

I made it out of...simple fabric =D it's a quite thick fabric, but I didn't use "staves" (I don't know wether this is the right word^^) that you find normally in corsets. I just made the whole thing quite tight and then it turned out like that. I think I just have a brilliant pattern =)
